We're Koren & Gareth

We’ve run The Brickmakers Pub in Swanmore since April 2011. Since taking over we’ve worked tirelessly to create a warm and welcoming local country pub that would draw people back time and time again.

Our vision is for a pub that serves a wide selection of locally sourced and brewed drinks and homemade food thats made to order and served all day.  

“With Gareth being the head chef and myself running front of house we feel we are achieving what we set out to do” says Koren, “Our staff are friendly and helpful, and customer service is of the utmost importance to us”.

Recognising our place at the heart of the community in Swanmore, our friendly team of chefs, bar staff and waiters offer top-notch service, where nothing is too much trouble. As a freehouse pub with a wide range of locally brewed drinks, we’re here to offer recommendations on the best food and drink on offer!

Hello! My name is Rosie and I am the pub dog – as you can see from these pictures I love to have adventures. I enjoy going for walks with my family and I especially like getting really muddy (I don’t like being hosed off in the garden after, though!).

I love to welcome well-behaved canine friends to the bar area – biscuits are always available on the bar as a welcome treat!

Hello! We’re Clarence and Chester, the Catlords of The Brickmakers, Swanmore. It’s our job to keep a watchful eye over the bar and restaurant and make sure that everything is purrfect!

Koren and Gareths’ vision was to keep the pub a good drinking pub, with an excellent restaurant – serving top quality, free-range food, locally produced when possible. To offer top notch service with attention to detail, waitress service where nothing is too much trouble.
